Managing For Future - Call for student volunteers The “Managing For Future” project by ManagersForFuture aims at providing a learning and engagement programme paradigm for international management students. Coordinated by the ManagersForFuture students group we are launching, it will offer networking opportunities with global sustainability leaders and academics, host action-learning activities and provide a forum to reflect upon the future of management education and the managerial profession’s ethos. A first pilot programme is being conceived in cooperation with Lederne LHO, gathering 130 000 managers in Denmark, and the Copenhagen Business School. ManagersForFuture now invites interested management students (in business schools and universities) to join its working group as volunteers and experience an international hands-on experience at the forefront of Sustainable Leadership, a circular and green economy and ground-breaking learning experiences. Through the work in the working group, you will be able to meet international managers, network with like-minded students and access job opportunities in Denmark and beyond. It will be your occasion to shape what an excellent and personally useful student programme on sustainability and management and leadership could be! We are looking for: - enthusiastic students in the areas of management, business administration or microeconomics (Master or graduated within the last year), - an active interest in sustainable development and leadership topics, - able to work 5-10h per month on projects within the working group over the course of at least 4 months, - keen on experimenting action learning, multi-cultural exchanges and design thinking in practice, - capacity to think and act beyond the box. What the “Managing For Future” programme will offer: - networking events with sustainability leaders and academics, - action learning partnerships with businesses to concretely work on sustainability projects on the ground, - a forum to discuss sustainability in management education, - partnerships with career coaches offering personal career coaching sessions, - being accompanied by a MFF mentor and the opportunity to engage with the broader ManagersForFuture movement.
